Shopping at Bicester Village

We recently visited Bicester Village for a day of shopping. We hadn’t been to the designer destination for a while and were super impressed with the revamp. Flowers by Wild at Heart, food offerings from The Farmshop and our London favourite- Café Wolseley, plus so many designers we love. They have even opened a Tate gallery, making Bicester Village not only the place to get a bargain (160 boutiques with up to 60% savings…) It’s a destination, and somewhere to get lost in for hours.

How to get there…

We decided to drive, taking us just over an hour, as we’re based just outside of London. It’s equally as easy to get to by Train, with a direct service from London Marylebone taking you straight into the village in 46 minutes. Arriving by car, we took full advantage of the valet service, with the number of stores at Bicester, we took a guess we’d be coming back with a fair few shopping bags.

What to wear…

Comfortable shoes- there’s a lot of walking involved, and keep in mind that it’s outdoors. Wild at Heart has landscaped the place, so it’s super pretty while walking around, we loved the LOVE & HAPPY signs.

Lou’s coat is new season Stella McCartney, which was also one of the first stores we headed too. Both of us were so impressed with the coat selection. The Bryce coat which is a classic Stella piece was available with 60% off!

Beautiful flowers by Wild at Heart line the pathways…

Where to shop…

All of our favourite designers are at Bicester Village- Celine, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Chloe, Gucci, Loewe and Valentino. Plus homeware and beauty stores. The list is endless (find them all here). You can also go one step further and book in with a Personal Shopper.

Where to Eat…

All that shopping is hungry work. We had a delicious meal at Café Wolseley (seriously worth the visit for the Chicken Schnitzel alone) and then stopped off post-shopping before the drive home for tea and cake at The Farmshop.

What to buy…

Bicester Village is 100% worth the visit if you’re looking for a classic bag or a new pair of shoes/boots. Winter Coats are plentiful at Bicester,  plus they’ve just opened a Golden Goose store. They don’t just have High-End designers; you’ll also find The White Company, Maje and Lululemon. We’ll both be going back soon for homewares- specifically Tom Dixon lights and The White Company sheets.

The Chloe Boots Lou managed to find and buy with 70% off! A classic boot that she’ll be wearing all Winter…

What we bought…

Of course Khaki jackets! Lou has had her Valentino jacket for a while now, and I’m always drooling over it. As soon as we hit Valentino, I enquired whether they had any out the back (top tip as not everything is on display) and to my surprise, they did and in my size! My mind was made up straight away, that was the piece I wanted to take home with me. Lou went for a Valentino oversized shirt which she has already worn to death! Plus her Chloe Boots, and we both brought home some lovely goodies from Neom Organics.
