New Season High Street Edit

When I asked on Instagram this morning what posts you’d like to see on A Style Album, I was inundated with new season requests. We never know if it’s too early in mid-August to start researching these posts but after all the replies asking for advice on winter boots, coats & knits, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all got that itch to start prepping our autumn/winter wardrobe.

We’ve started off with a High Street Edit of the new season pieces that will see us through autumn/winter…

A lot of trends have carried over- check blazers, leopard print & sock boots, with a few new trends cropping up too in corduroy & cowboy style boots. It’s early days, and the high street have just started receiving their autumnal pieces but here’s what’s caught our eye so far.

Lou & Em’s High Street autumn/winter Edit…

I’ll team this Pink Corduroy blazer with light denim jeans and a simple white tee for an update on the classic jeans/blazer combo I live in during the autumn months.

After the rain we’ve had today I’m going to invest in a stylish rain jacket this year. This army green one by Rains will slot into my wardrobe well.

Knitwear will be an essential part of your look once September hits and chunky knits are the mainstays of our wardrobe all winter long. This red knit is perfect and comes in an array of colours.

The sock boot was popular last season and looks like it’s here to stay. Lou lived in her sock boots all winter long, and they’re going to be one of my first new season purchases. The perfect heel height for the day.
