Camis & Cardis

I couldn’t be happier about the return of the Cardigan, never has the knitwear staple been more on trend, and never have I been more ready to embrace Granny Chic. A casual slouchy cardi looks super cool and relaxed when layered over something slinky; enter The Camisole.

I love cami’s at the moment, and they’re helping to reinvent my wardrobe for A/W…

I’ll never tire of a plain Tee as my go-to basic, but the Cami is a great alternative when a tee just won’t cut it. I love mixing textures by teaming silk under a chunky knit and this Olive Green Cami from newly discovered brand Cami NYC, is the perfect colour for Autumn. I’ll also be wearing it under my Blazer, with my Leather Jacket, layered with Jumpers, over T-Shirts and on its own. It’s the perfect piece to dress up with Heels and Leather or down with Converse and beat up Jeans.

As well as Cami NYC, Anine Bing is another go-to brand for silky, delicate camisoles. On the high street look to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s range at M&S or Misguided for a very similar version to mine for £18.

I love Isabel Marant’s Étoile range for Chunky Cardis that will see you through the Winter. At the other end of the price scale, I found these Boyfriend Cardigans at Boohoo; they come in an array of colours, the Red is my fave, for £20 you can’t go wrong.
