10 Reasons Why…

I love to dress a real mix of Designer & High Street, I’m not a snob when it comes to labels, but I do like to buy quality, and I’m not so into fast fashion. My shopping habits have definitely changed since I’ve gotten older, and now even if it’s High Street and affordable, I’ll think carefully before I buy.

The High Street is killing it right now…

As always it takes inspiration from the Designers at the forefront of Fashion. Ulla Johnson, Saint Laurent, Ganni & Isabel Marant are brands I admire and buy into when possible, but I do love it when I find a High Street piece influenced by the catwalk. It makes Fashion accesible for all budgets and means we can have fun with our Style.

The Aviator Jacket…

I’ve been lusting after Acne’s Velocite Jacket for years but not sure I can justify the hefty price tag no matter how incredible. I’m definitely having second thoughts now I’ve found this Warehouse Dupe.

The Cable Knit…

It’s the season for Knits, and we’re lusting after Ganni’s Mohair Sweater, another Scandi brand, Vali have designed an equally cosy knit in on-trend Pastel Pink for under £50.

The Floral Skirt…

Preen is one of my favorite designers for their Romantic, Contemporary collections. This Floral Topshop Skirt is heavily Preen inspired and will be a winter staple of mine. I’ll be teaming with boots and a chunky knit for a feminine fall-ready look.

The Statement Blouse…

Saint Laurent are synonymous with Luxe Blouses; the simple blouse makes for a super chic evening look. & Other Stories take on the tie neck elegant top will look great when teamed with a black trouser or high-waisted denim, slick back your hair and add a red lip for an effortlessly chic look.

The Bohemian Dress…

Ulla Johnson has mastered Fall Florals, and I’m obsessed with the laid back Bohemian vibe of Ulla’s collections. This Topshop Midi Dress will give the same laid-back look as one of Ulla’s dresses.

The Leather Trouser…

Finding quality leather on the High Street is not easy, and you will have to pay a premium for real leather. I love the style of this pair from Wallis. I’ll be pairing with a Silk White Tee & Heels for a cool evening look and with my Nikes and a Grey sweatshirt for laidback luxe for day time.

The Statement Dress…

One of my favorite brands of the moment is Magda Butrym. Everything about their designs feels fresh and exciting, unfortunately for me, the price tag is not quite as appealing. This super pretty dress with an edge from Warehouse is ticking all the boxes for me, one armed, asymmetrical hem & bright florals. A hint of Vetements, a hint of Magda Butrym but with a Warehouse Price. *adds to basket.

The Cardigan…

There’s been much talk this season about the return of the cardi. We love it when a trend also plays into our comfort dressing needs. This Chunky Cardi from Next can double as a coat while it’s still mild. Now, what colour to choose?

The Luxe Jogger…

Gucci has put the humble jogger back on the Fashion map. Embrace off-duty style by teaming & Other Stories luxe joggers with simple sandals and casual Tee.

The Pussy Bow Blouse…

Balenciaga, Gucci & Valentino have all included statement pink blouses in their current collections, but I’ve still fallen for this one from Finery.
